Corbeau Black Wine

“Proud man dies of crow allergy.” This morbid six-word story conjured an elegantly unsettling brand of black wine, produced by Proud Man Vineyards. The deep red, almost black malbec wine is produced in the Cahors region of France, and is an appropriately somber drink. The wine’s French origins also inspired the name “Corbeau,” the French word for “crow.” Scrawls of illustrated gold leaf fine-line work depict a regal yet deeply nervous crow-man, fleeing from a monstrous corvid conglomerate. A dignified and distressing bottle.
